Metro State head coach Beck Meares announced that tryouts for next season will be held on June 4 at 1 p.m. at Metro State's tennis courts.  Participants MUST have a current physical from a physician dated within six months of the tryout date and must bring a copy of the physical with.  Interested players may show up or may contact Coach Meares with any questions at 303-556-3440.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The Metro State tennis teams saw their seasons come to an end on Friday at the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Tournament in Albuquerque.  The men's team fell 6-3 in the quarterfinals to Montana State-Billings.  The women's team won 6-3 over MSU-Billings in the quarterfinals, but was eliminated by top-seed Nebraska-Kearney 5-2 in the semifinals.  The men's team's season comes to an end with a 6-10 record, while the women finished 7-12.

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - The Metro State tennis teams both fell on Saturday in two matches in Grand Junction, Colo.  The men lost 9-0 to No. 35 Western New Mexico and Mesa State, while the women fell 5-4 to Western New Mexico and 6-3 to Mesa State.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Metro State men's and women's tennis teams are both ranked in the top-10 in the Central Region in the first rankings released this season by the NCAA Championships Committee. The men's team is sixth in the region and the women's team is currently ninth. The top six teams in each region will qualify for the NCAA Tournament at end of the regular season.

DENVER, Colo. - The Metro State tennis teams were both swept in a pair of matches on Friday against Nebraska-Kearney and Montana State-Billings.  The men's team fell 6-3 to UNK and 7-2 to MSUB, while the women dropped a 5-4 decision to UNK and lost 6-3 to MSUB.  The men's team is now 6-6 overall and 2-2 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, while the women are 6-8 overall and 2-2 in the RMAC.
